Nice that it worked when I tried this on debian-in repo it broke due to svn repo structure we used so we left behind SVN and moved all packages to git and released new version with updated Vcs-* urls. So we have old history in SVN repo and packages in git are continuation of this history. > > I would appreciate if you guys, particularly git wizards, can have a > look there. Not a wizard but yes I can definitely have look. I moved fonts-droid as fonts-android into Git using the same method. Considering amount of packages we have problem is that this process is bandwidth hungry and I'm short of bandwidth and internet speed :-(. Can we use debian infrastructure (may be on alioth or some where else) to do this conversion. Can any one suggest any other alternative? <snip> May be we can have a wiki page or something like this where we can list all packages and mark who is moving which package to git so that we avoid duplication of work. I will try to generate this page. -- Vasudev Kamath http://copyninja.info Connect on ~friendica: copyninja@{frndk.de | vasudev.homelinux.net} IRC nick: copyninja | vasudev {irc.oftc.net | irc.freenode.net} GPG Key: C517 C25D E408 759D 98A4 C96B 6C8F 74AE 8770 0B7E
