Package: ttf-dejavu
Version: 2.25-3
Severity: wishlist

The main thing holding me back from using ttf-dejavu as a default font
is that the rendering of italic text is far less clear than when using
Bitstream Vera fonts.

The original bug report is just "rendering of italic text is far less
clear than when using Bitstream Vera fonts" without giving real
details about what is "less clear".

Evguenyi retitling doesn't give more details. I have no idea what
instructions he's talking about.

So, I don't see any reason to keep this bug opened for years. Nobody
will ever do anything with it if it stays as it is (and it will).
