It will add "X-debbugs-CC: pkg-fonts-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org" to the bug report mail. The consequence is that we (the list) will be CC'ed to the bug report *and* get the bug number. That will allow the one who volunteers for sponosring to immediately claim the bug and even send a notice in it that (s)he will do the work. That may avoid duplicate work.
