I suggest you send this formally as a "Request For Packaging" bug sent against "wnpp" pseudo-package. More information (probably) available on http://wnpp.debian.org (URL from memory...if it isn't right you may want to Google for "request for packaging bug report" or something like kthis. Please notice that we already have a few fonts designed "for programming" in the archive so, well, we can't promise that any current member of the team will pickup the RFP. You may be better preparing the package yourself (and, why not, maintain it...). It's not that hard and, who knows, that could be a start of an involvment in the project..:-)
