Quoting Eremit7 (eremit7@gmx.de): > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > I have changed some reverences to the old package name and uploaded > version 4.1-4 to the svn and mentors. > http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/f/fonts-senamirmir-washra/ > > So the package is ready for review. I'm afraid I missed the following in former uploads (and mails, indeed), but lintian warns about this package, which you overrode: * Added lintian override for maintainer-not-full-name I don't have handy the full rationale behind the lintian warning, but I think it is obvious: Debian does not encourage the use of nicknames in package maintenance. I agree it might be debated about what is a name and what isn't but, at least our policy is quite clear about "real life names" to be encouraged (if not enforced). We enforce that on DDs through the use of cross-signed GPG keys, so I don't see why we shouldn't enforce this too for sponsored packages. At the very very minimum, I'd like to get an explanation. Maybe, I'm mistaken and "Eremit7" is your real name, but I'd like to have a confirmation about this. If it isn't then I need a rationale and convincing arguments to make me sponsor the package.
