The EOT is really only useful for older versions of IE. WOFF is the
unified open format for webfonts (http://www.w3.org/TR/WOFF/) and Debian
offers various browsers with support for that format.
In any case Amiri is one of the quality open fonts where the author has
also taken care of releasing with a well thought-out tree :-)
