There is a small chance that the FTP team questions you about this size and the possible option to split the package. It's probably hard to imagine but you may need to be prepared to this. Anyway, being unable to read Japanese, I can't appreciate the quality of this font but I guess this is impressive. Having a good and free handwriting font for a complex writing system is really great. Addtionnally, the package description might deserve some love to improve English in it. debian-l10n-english might help in this.
