I will look into the feasibility of getting Khaled Hosny's XITS fonts
packaged on Debian.
They are based on the STIX fonts (read the name backwards :-) ), they
support things that the regular release don't and he updates the fonts
quickly, responding to feedback from users.
On top of that, he knows a lot of the fonts stuff.

I think that some of the scripts that I saw could be improved. But more
on that latter.
