[Pkg-fonts-devel] Needed changes for fontconfig package update

Hi list,

I'm currently packaging fontconfig 2.8.0 for Ubuntu and I was wondering 
what needs to be changed in our patches and debian/* files to comply 
with recent developments. Maybe you guys could give me some input?

1. drop Defoma: shall all defoma related things be removed from 
fontconfig and the build-dependency dropped? Probably some cleanup needs 
to be done.

2. triggers: fontconfig has already a trigger on the fonts related 
directories. So, font packages which still call fc-cache in the 
postinst/postrem scripts will need to be changed and the fc-cache calls 
be removed? Or how are the triggers supposed to work?
