As you may (or may not) have noticed, I began switching packages to the 3.0 source format (http://wiki.debian.org/Projects/DebSrc3.0). Those were the packages I mostly maintain alone (ttf-dzongkha and ttf-lao). For ttf-lao, it was also the opportunity for some lintian cleaning. For font packages, this is really trivial as nearly none of them have patches to "upstream sources".....(in the past, we has a few patches to ttf-freefont, managed by quilt). So, the switch is generally: - mkdir debian/source - echo "3.0 (quilt) >debian/source/format and eventually check debian/control and remove dependency on quilt there as well as any reference to "patch/unpatch" targets in debian/rules. Would there be any objection if I start switching other packages to source 3.0 format? My first targets would be ttf-freefont, ttf-dejavu, ttf-liberation. --
