Yes, with uxterm, I can see just box. But if I use gnome-terminal or xfce4-terminal, I can see all characters that includes macron over vowel. Could you try it? And "uxterm -fa 'Sazanami' -fs 12" or "uxterm -fa 'Kochi Gothic' -fs 12", you'll see same thing, just box with macron over vowel. I think it's not ttf-vlgothic's problem. -- Regards, Hideki Yamane
