Hi,

I'm using deja vu sans font on my laptop, wich has a SXGA+ (1400×1050) 14"
display. This means ~125dpi, wich is nice. But at 125dpi, 12pt fonts are way
too big, so I use 7 and 8pt fonts. At these sizes. it seems that some
characters (especially “ and ”) aren't fully rendered. For example, at 7pt, “
and ” both look like ".

It'd be nice if even at small sizes fonts were rendered perfectly :)

Cheers,

Ok, in fact using autohinting in fontconfig-config makes this really
better. So I'll consider the bug closed.

Thanks for you time.
