Hi Paul and everyone, AFAIK the plans are to make time-based releases. But while the project was still in flux it's been left to packagers in the various distros. But it's on the OFLB roadmap. Now that the OFLB is back online we should add it to our todolist. Some checking needs to happen of a number of font though before packaging happens. I'd rather suggest ttf-oflb-$nameoffontfamily packages (OFLB as the name of the "foundry"). Given that some font designers may choose different licenses, IMHO it's less than ideal to put it in the package name. What do other think? > Also wanted to let people know about this blog post about fedora font > licensing & preview stuff: > > http://mihmo.livejournal.com/45152.html > > Some parts are similar to what Miriam did with the fonts preview, but better. Yeah to see the ambitious plans and the energy of the Fedora Art team :) Good collaboration ahead IMHO... Anybody from the team going to attend the next LGM? Cheers, -- Nicolas
