I've just merged Arne's patch into trunk [1] along with a set of other patches;
note that I've changed all "2.19-1ubuntu1" entries into "2.19-2" also if
there will not be a 2.19-2 package: I'll change it into 2.20-1 when next upstream
version will be out.

It'd be great if somebody did some peer-reviewing of the changes: at the moment
I've only checked it builds fine and the expected files are generated.
