thanks for doing this work!  i think we no longer need
008_add_ttfweight.diff, because George Williams already implemented a
better solution to the problem it tried to solve:

i just went back and closed bug 333587 myself to indicate the change.

Sorry for the delay in updating the bts.  i'm excited to see what
comes out of this font development group.
