Re: newbie firewall recommendation



Right, I edited the inetd.conf file and so my lastest nmap looks like:
Port       State       Service
22/tcp     open        ssh
25/tcp     open        smtp
80/tcp     open        http
111/tcp    open        sunrpc
515/tcp    open        printer
1024/tcp   open        kdm

I don't actually have any of these packages installed and I'm wondering
how do you find out which appl. is responsible for opening a port. (so I
can apt-get remove it)
