Not quite at your level, but for what its worth, we ran a p3-500 box with 2x 3com 10/100 cards in it as a firewall/router with an upstream of 3 T1's that had: o ~50-60 dynamic routes o several traffic shaping rules (in constant use) o a few simple firewall rules It was almost always pegged at the 4.5 MBit xfer level, but the load never got above 0.01.
