Current workaround is to unpack dash and then force-all install it.
# dpkg -x /var/cache/apt/archives/dash_0.5.5.1-2.3em1_i386.deb /
# dpkg --force-all -i /var/cache/apt/archives/dash_0.5.5.1-2.3em1_i386.deb
# dpkg --configure -a
# apt-get -f install
More testing needed.
