Broken dependencies ?? Please please help.

Hi
I have been trying to install gcc on my armel based Emdebian Grip running on Atmel kit. The things have got to very frustrating level. I have tracked the dependency tree trying to install the dependecies individually by downloading, and found that it comes down to libgcc1 (>= 1:4.4.0) which is not available for emdebian grip for armel. I have checked for sid, squeeze and lenny for armel packages on http://www.emdebian.org/grip/search.php

Someone please please help !!!!!!!
