Disk-On-Module?

I think, 2 GByte for 15 Euro is realy enough and  I  can  get  512 MByte
Module for 8-9 Euro.

Since you are using a standard Computer, I would not strip anything.

IDE Flash is cheap...  EmDebian  is  only  usefull  where  you  have  an
embedded system which has not enough NAND Flash or such...
