Hello *, I have already written on <debian-arm> (about mobile SDRAM) because my OOo is crashing on my Atmel AT91SAM9G20 (256MB SDRAM) and Freescale i.MX31 (512MByte mobileSDRAM) Evaluation Kits with a SEGV. Now I like to know, whether it is possibel to strip down OOo to get it running on a full blown Embedded "Outdoor HandBag TablePC" with only 1 GByte of NAND Fash... And how much memory do you recommend? I run only FVWM as WM, no KDE/GNOME. The final Project will have a Nexperia GSM/UMTS/HSDPA chip, a GPS chip, a Wifi a/b/g and a BlueTooth chip plus a TFT display of 800x600 pixel. Also 2 (independant) Li-Polymer Akkus of 7.4V and 3.6-4.5Ah, which mean, I can get an autonomy of arround 6 hours running the whole TablePC with maximum performance OR arround 10-11 hours wit maximum energy saving. Note: All installed devices can be entirely OnTheFly enabled or disabled Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening Michelle Konzack Systemadministrator 24V Electronic Engineer Tamay Dogan Network Debian GNU/Linux Consultant -- Linux-User #280138 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org/ ##################### Debian GNU/Linux Consultant ##################### Michelle Konzack Apt. 917 ICQ #328449886 +49/177/9351947 50, rue de Soultz MSN LinuxMichi +33/6/61925193 67100 Strasbourg/France IRC #Debian (irc.icq.com)
