Package: dpkg-cross
Version: 1.20.4
Severity: important

Hello again,

Finally, I managed to cross-build perl successfully. But I
encountered an issue in dpkg-cross.

Suppose we cross-build for M32R.

The binary package perl_5.8.4-5.1_m32r.deb contains a header file which
does not end '.h', that is: /usr/lib/perl/5.8.4/CORE/reentr.inc

With dpkg-cross, we build perl-m32r-cross_5.8.4-5.1_all.deb.
However, dpkg-cross removes it and perl-m32r-cross_5.8.4-5.1_all.deb.
does not contain /usr/m32r-linux/lib/perl/5.8.4/CORE/reentr.inc

This file is needed when compiling external perl modules.

$ dpkg -L perl | grep CORE | grep -v '.h$'
/usr/lib/perl/5.10.0/CORE

So there are no header files in perl-5.10 that do not end in .h

I haven't tested if perl now cross builds but the problem, as described
in the bug report, no longer exists because of other changes within perl.
