The OESF forum [1] has many resources about it.
The major way is using an "yonggun" kernel and a debootstrapped Debian
rootfs.
I personal use an Ångström kernel and a debootstrapped Debian rootfs (EABI).
I had also tried original Sharp kernel console mode and an OABI Debian
rootfs.
It is slow in an OABI environment, but it works.
