I think that gccross may be a good workaround during the transition to
cross-building, but I'm using autoconf and my Makefiles are aware that
I'm cross-compiling. In my particular case, I didn't even know that
gccross was being used -- the command line was mentioning gcc, so I
second Bug#374778. How does gccross get invoked and how can I disable
it?
With kind regards,
