After a few glitches with an old version of reprepro, the merge was successful. Phase 1 of the repository merge is now complete. cross-testing-amd64 and cross-unstable-amd64 have been merged into cross-testing and cross-unstable respectively. I've updated the wiki. I propose that Phase2 is the merge of cross-testing into testing main and cross-unstable into unstable main. This will give us much more predictable repository sources: After Phase 1 (i.e. current) ################################ # EmDebian Toolchain [i386 and AMD64] # deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ testing cross-testing deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ unstable cross-unstable After proposed Phase 2 ################################ # EmDebian Toolchain [any] deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ testing main deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ unstable main The target repository is (as yet) unchanged - only the toolchains are affected. Current: neil@amd64:toolchain$ apt-cache policy binutils-arm-linux-gnu binutils-arm-linux-gnu: Installed: 2.17-3 Candidate: 2.17-3 Version table: *** 2.17-3 0 500 http://www.emdebian.org unstable/cross-unstable Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status The objective is "the line of least surprise" for existing Debian developers who show an interest in Emdebian. In due course, the target repository will also use a more conventional repository layout. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
