Indeed, a useful link. I am looking into it for a general read. By skimming
through initially i found the page

closest to my query. Is there anywhere a more detailed document explaining
the concept and the configuration process of MTD?
It seems to me that the memory configuration is very specific to the
hardware layout and hence needs to be addressed specifically.
