Control: severity -1 minor I'm reducing the severity of this bug because what has happened is that some sort of bad interaction between mu-index and the terminal has mucked up the display of the stats. mu-index outputs a progress status line, then a carriage return, in order to overwrite the same line when it outputs the next sets of stats: $ mu index indexing maildir /home/azazel/mail/inbox -> store /home/azazel/.cache/mu/xapian / indexing messages; checked: 79758; updated/new: 2; cleaned-up: 0 but in this case the carriage returns were not being handled correctly and garbage output resulted. However, there is nothing to indicate that there was any problem with the actual indexing. J.
