dh-elpa 2.0.1 is in experimental and it represents a fairly drastic change: the emacsen-install and emacsen-remove maintainer scripts are now shims that call scripts in the binary-package dh-elpa-helper. This small binary package will be a dependency of every dh-elpa using package. I'd like to have every dh-elpa rdep built against dh-elpa 2.x before the bullseye release. This will allow updating the emacsen-install and emacsen-remove scripts by uploading a new version of dh-elpa-helper, rather than rebuilding the world. If there's something fundamentally wrong with the design, I'd like to find out before rebuilding the world. So please build a few packages against dh-elpa in experimental, and report any problems. d
