Sorry, wrong information. This is the error:
save-place-alist-to-file: Wrong type argument: listp, \.\.\.
I found out that I have to deactivate
;; (require 'saveplace)
;; (setq-default save-place t)
in my emacs_addons.el, however saveplace worked fine for Emacs 21.3.
