Re: emacspeak + festival



I successfully managed to get emacspeak and festival, and evn an emacs
interface going on a sunsparc 2--3 years ago...  so don't remember
details, but here goes:  (and i not root during installation)...

yeah, appeared that way to me too... but i think all 'hardware'-type
terms actually turned out to be 'softwares'... i think, and i am very
fuzzy on the names, that i had to install a lot of differnet
softwared----mbrola, vivavoice (sp?), etc. etc., some semantic and
dictionary packages before i could even think of installing emacspeak.

i think some of these packages are non-Free.
