Bug#1087138: smbios-thermal-ctl no longer works under Linux 6.11

   $ sudo smbios-thermal-ctl -g 2>&1 | head -n1
   ERROR: Could not execute SMI.
   $ sudo dmesg | tail -n1
   [51322.323761] dell-smbios A80593CE-A997-11DA-B012-B622A1EF5492: Invalid call 17/19:       0

This is probably due to this commit, which moves the handling of thermal
profiles into the kernel:

I have no idea how to set the thermal profile under 6.11.  Any help will
be appreciated.
