Package: libefiboot1
Version: 37-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

libefiboot in stable and testing fails to parse symlinks such as:

    /sys/dev/block/259:1 -> ../../devices/virtual/nvme-subsystem/nvme-subsys0/nvme0n1

which prevents tools such as grub-install and efibootmgr from working on
my system that has only NVMe drives, thus also preventing a successful
install of buster at the "install bootloader" stage of d-i.

The problem is fixed upstream here:

    https://github.com/rhboot/efivar/pull/139

and that fix is already present in the version of libefiboot1 from
unstable (37-6). I have verified this by forcibly installing the .deb
from unstable on a buster system; this allows tools such as grub-install
and efibootmgr to work successfully.

Please can this fix be backported to buster so that an install is
possible?

Thanks,
Andy
