It turns out that this is another problem caused by
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1042083

It only happens when the added hostname is fully qualified,
as incorrectly suggested in the above documentation
screenshot. We need to fix this in gosa as it is easy to
get wrong and causes all kinds of weird issues.
