Bug#1005352: debian-edu-config/bullseye: deprecated tempfile command still in use

Package: debian-edu-config
Severity:important
Version: 2.11.56+deb11u3
Tags: bullseye

The bullseye version of debian-edu-config uses tempfile in various scripts. When tempfile is used, a warning is generated on stderr. Some of the scripts that use tempfile (instead of the to-be-used mktemp command) run as CRON jobs. This produces a mail messagess from CRON with every script call that uses the deprecated tempfile command.

For reducing internal admin mail noise on Debian Edu main server (root@postoffice.intern), dropping usage of tempfile on a bullseye Debian Edu network would be a welcome thing to happen.
