Hi,

when logging into KDE4, akonadi starts indexing, which uses all cpu for about
a minute. After that, the users homedirectory is about 100mb in size.

When 20 users log into a LTSP server on thin clients, the server (and thus all
the user sessions as they run on the server) will be unuable for 20min.

This is, aeh, not usable at all.

Anything we can do?

cheers,
	Holger

hi,

I'm closing this bug report as KDE is not the default anymore, thus this can
be considered fixed, at least for src:debian-edu.
