yes, but he didnt, so I figured it's better to upload this to unstable
now. the point release is getting closer, so all these changes need some
more testing. also we can always do another upload to fix things.
here I'd also believe it would be better to open a new bug if needed,
instead of reopening #931413. I'll also happily be convinced that
reopening is better, if needed.
