Ok, then something else must have gone wrong when the Kerberos principal 
for the first user should have been created at installation time. (The 
Kerberos principal is also missing in case of a too short password.)

You might be able to find the reason if you search for the first user 
uid in /var/log/installer/syslog on the main server.

(In case of a too short password you'll see 'add_principal: Password is 
too short while creating "jdoe@INTERN"' if the uid is jdoe)
