Hi,
from 5th to 8th of June there will be a MiniDebConf in Hamburg again.
Just as last year, we would like to use that event to host a Debian Edu
sprint.
The sprint shall consist of three major aspects:
a) Upcoming release (or next point release)
* Current state
* Open issues
* Docs/release notes/advertisement
b) Roadmap and new ideas
* Mobile devices
* Integration of apps (Moodle, ILIAS, Nextcloud, Movim,…)
* Whiteboards
* …
c) Debian Edu, Skolelinux and the rest of the world
* Cooperation with schools (reports, plans,…)
* Skolelinux as a product for schools (requirements, marketing, web,…)
* Relation with other school network solutions
As Debian Edu is on a very good way technically, the other aspects will
probably make up a good part of the sprint. Thus, I would like to
explicitly motivate non-developers to join us.
Please inform us about your participation until 12th of May if possible,
either by mail or in the wiki, so we can get a tentative participant
list and ask the DPL for funding.

Die Gelegenheit, insbesondere das MiniDebCamp vom 5. bis 7. Juni,
möchten wir wieder für einen Debian-Edu-Sprint nutzen.

* Zusammenarbeit mit Schulen (Erfahrungen, Pläne,…)
* Skolelinux als Produkt für Schulen (Anforderungen, Marketing, Web,…)
* Relation zu anderen Schulnetzwerklösungen
Da wir mit Debian Edu technisch auf einem sehr guten Weg sind, gehe ich
davon aus, dass der Teil, in dem es um die Zukunft und nicht-technische
Aspekte geht größer werden wird. Ich möchte also insbesondere auch
Nicht-Entwickler motivieren, vorbeizuschauen und sich einzubringen.
Bitte meldet euch nach Möglichkeit bis 12. Mai, entweder im Wiki oder
per Mail, damit wir eine vorraussichtliche Teilnehmerliste
zusammenbekommen. Dann kann ich beim DPL auch finanziellen Support
anfragen.
