AFAICT, this is already cared for by cfengine 
(configured in d-e-c/cf/cf.homes), no need to change anything.

The method to disable autofs changed from Jessie to Stretch. So maybe 
that's a possible reason. I didn't notice any problems, though, while 
upgrading a combi server (stock installation) from Jessie to Stretch.
Maybe the installations differ…
