Force all clients to work as thin

Debian edu 7.1 combined server installation.

We have a 'subnet00.intern' with 25 clients each with 2GB RAM, so they works as fat (RAM > 320MB).

Now we would to force all clients to work as thin rather than thick.

We changed /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf as follows:

 [default]
    LTSP_FATCLIENT=false

The clients now works as thin, but the netboot time is always the same, like the clients loads always the fat os.

Is there a way to force all the clients to starts as thin regardless their RAM?

Thanks in advance
Francesco
