Suggestions for programs for learning to program

Hi.  I just came back from an interesting talk about how to teach kids
and students to program, and four tools were highlighted in the talk.

 Scratch - Debian package scratch, already installed in Skolelinux

 Arduino - Debian package arduino, not installed by default in Skolelinux
    <URL: http://www.arduino.cc/ >

 Processing - Debian package unknown, found no WNPP
    <URL: http://www.processing.org/ >

 Netlogo - Debian WNPP #660719 and #511938.
    <URL: http://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/ >

Anyone know if the latter two are on their way into Debian or already
present in Debian?

Cc to the speaker, who expressed interest in promoting Skolelinux if
all these tools were available for Skolelinux users. :)
