Right. Was not sure it was written in the doc that a reboot should be
done. This make it even stranger.

Ah, my mistake. You are right. We did not switch all the other
profiles to sssd yet. We should, though. After Wheezy, I believe.
This is very strange. Could it be some nscd cache related issue? I
do not got many ideas what could cause such effect, I must admit.
