nbd -swapfiles

Hi,

I inactivated nbdswap on my thinclients and workstations, putting NBD_SWAP=N in lts.conf, and turned on local swap instead. It seems to work nicely for ws to swap on local disk. The thinclients swaps on a flashcard, even that seems to work perfectly.

"Problem" is that swapfiles are still created in /var/opt/ltsp/swapfiles
They dont seem to be used after the creation, but how do I stop nbdswapd from doing anything at all?

Can I shutdown the nbd-server without breaking anything? (And will that stop the creation of swapfiles? To me it seems like its /usr/sbin/nbdswapd run from inetd that creates the files and nbd-server just hands them out?)
I want to reduce everything that tjener and ltspserver do on the network (that is not used), to try to increase prestanda.

Regards  /George
