Raspberry Pi as a thin client?

I notice from

that the Raspberry Pi computer claimed to be available for $25 should
be possible to set up as a thin client, and perhaps also a diskless
workstation.

I am aware of the student project

for looking at these things, but do not know what is going on in that
project.

Did anyone on the list test to get Raspberry Pi working with Debian
Edu?
