msgcat before committing PO files (Was: r76768 - trunk/src/debian-edu-doc/documentation/debian-edu-squeeze)

Hi,
In order to avoid committing huge diff to Subversion, make them
readable, and also avoid sending all debian-edu Alioth members 1MB mails
each time a translator uploads a file or anyone updates the PO files, it
would be pretty nice to run msgcat to the file before committing it:
msgcat -o debian-edu-squeeze-manual.de.po \
debian-edu-squeeze-manual.de.po
would do the work, so would “make” in he appropriate directory (and
would furthermore allow to check that no DocBook syntax error is shipped
in the file). “LINGUA make=de” runs in about 5 seconds, but won't update
the PO file.
