Jxplorer

Hi,

I have a somewhat annoying problem with jxplorer...

If I login using these creds;
host: ldap.intern
port: 389
Security level: Anonymous

Then I can see almost anything, but not change things though.

But if I login using these creds:
host: ldap.intern
port: 389
Security level: SSL + user + password
User dn: cn=admin,ou=ldap-access,dc=skole,dc=skolelinux,dc=no
Password: root pwd from installation

Then I get following error:
Error opening connection:
simple bind failed: ldap.intern:389

Details give:
javax.naming.CommunicationException: simple bind failed: ldap.intern:389 [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake]

I have tried many settings including the ones mentioned in the skolelinux installation guide(s), but this seems to be the most promising.

With security level user + password I get
Error opening connection:
[LDAP: error code 13 - confidentiality required]

With details:
javax.naming.AuthenticationNotSupportedException: [LDAP: error code 13 - confidentiality required]

SSLHandshakeException seems to point at problems with certs? The cert in ldap seems to be good though. It seems to be valid for about 10 more years ;) and ldap in it self works, even ldapvi is working nicely.

Do I need to import some cert into JXplorer to make it to work? I dont get a warning or any feedback from jxplorer about certs..

I have tried hosst: ldapds://ldap.intern and some other variants but then I always get connection error...

Please advice; what settings have you used to get jxplorer to work?

I use debian 6.0.6 with latest updates, JXplorer (build JXv3.2.1 2010-05-02 21:54 EST)  with java6-openjdk, all updated via repos, nothing tweaked there..

Regards  /George
