Hi, After noticing that some translations may need some update on debian-edu-doc [1], I'd like to help and coordinate a bit on the i18n side. Before that, I've been told that “the original manual [2] could need some proofreading and fixing first” [3], so here I am with that proposal. 1: http://i18n.debian.net/l10n-pkg-status/d/debian-edu-doc.html 2: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Documentation/Squeeze/ 3: Holger Levsen on IRC Being neither a Debian Edu nor an English expert, it would be best if someone else could take the lead. Usually, a volunteer would reply to this message (to both lists) changing the subject as: [ITR] wiki://DebianEdu/Documentation/Squeeze/ in order to mention her Intent to Review, and will reply later with a message (always to both lists) changing the subject as: [RFR] wiki://DebianEdu/Documentation/Squeeze/ to Request For Review. Given that the manual source is in a wiki, maybe it's best to provide the change directly in it, and to notice the lists with the changes or the questions, but the Debian Edu team may have a better proposal for the review process. The review could also been split in the various subpages [4, 5, etc.] the manual is composed by, the reviewers are welcome to pick what they prefer. 4: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Documentation/Squeeze/AboutDebianEdu 5: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Documentation/Squeeze/Architecture Of course, as initially proposed, once the review will be done, I'll be happy to send the usual call for translation update, and the eventual follow up: since the package is updated ~monthly, it should be quite easy to call for translation update one week or two (if there are many changes) before the upload. Regards David
