Instead of diverting Iceweasel's startup we added scripts to the display
manager's hooks directory to achieve the same, but for the whole desktop
session. It made more sense for us, in case Iceweasel is closed and
reopened several times during the same session.

And then there is also Iceweasel's tendency not to close completely but
hang in the background.

In any case, having .iceweasel on the local harddisk greatly improves
performance compared to nfs, same applies for .java .
