[Bug 1448] New: Chroot resolv.conf should not be overwritten

http://bugs.skolelinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1448

Summary: Chroot resolv.conf should not be overwritten
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: lenny
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: debian-edu-config
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: jss@bzz.no

Currently the script /etc/resolvconf/update.d/ltsp-chroots overwrites
/etc/resolv.conf in the chroot.
According to the comment at the top of the script, this is done so APT will
work in the chroot.

I don't know how this affects the out-of-the-box diskless chroot, but using a
custom chroot on a combi-server it has bitten us, causing diskless clients to
stop working. It's a good thing that Debian-edu works out of the box, but it
should try not to break customised installations.
