This is a problem on the diskless workstation with reverse DNS lookup.
What is the content of /etc/resolv.conf on the diskless workstation?

At least the first. The second might be related too, but do not know.
What is the output from /usr/lib/debian-edu-config/testsuite/dnsd and
/usr/lib/debian-edu-config/testsuite/ldap-client on this diskless
workstation?
